Came here for me 19th birthday party and that was in 2007. One of the best nights of my life....and the best night that I've had since uni started. Many of my friends that came agree. The view was amazing...!! Although drinks v pricey, there was a 2 for 1 drink deal at the start of the night which was good. But it was all worth it because the venue and music and people and atmosphere was so amazing. I'll never forget it!

I live in west end and I am a party animal but I have never had it so good lately. I was there 13th sept. saturday nite initially could not get in because I was single however was able to get some chics and got in. The DJ was spot on, the view amazing, the crowd hilarious everyone ready to have a go. I bet you if you are the dancing type then u might not even wanna sit for a minute otherwise you gonna miss all the sweet tracks. I will definately be there again on the 4th of October, wow I cant wait till then.

Went here on a Thurs nyt..promoters got us to the queue promising ladies free but at the door we all had to pay n as consolation gave us vouchers for 1 free drink..not a great start. But once in....was on the dancefloor all night!!! music was great, not too crowded, not too hot and the view was amazing! had to wait for a table as theyre arent many but really the only main problem was aching feet from such as wicked night! Atmosphere ws great, staff seemed ok but jus make sure u get wot the promoters offer they tend to say anythin to get u in the q. would recommend for a weeknight out n maybe save the more expensive n better clubs for a weekend.

I really didn't see what all the fuss was about, view lounge/penthouse/vertego or whatever its now called was over priced, empty and the bar staff were not pleasent. This club has managed to continue trading because of the way it looks from the outside, once you have paid good money to in sadly all you find that is that its just a lot of hot air! The 7th floor was rubbish with people justr standing around looking at eachother, no dancing. If you want to get ripped-off on a friday night then its the place to go.

I met this hot Italian guy from near of Milan, too bad I was 2 fool and 2 drunk to let him go.. miss him.. Gotta go there someday again. Absolutely worth of paying even traveling from far..

i was at the view lounge on 17 May 2008 it was a saturday night and i had such a good time. The best time ive had in ages in the west end. Usually clubs in the west end can be too hot and very small and packed but this club was spacious and the air con was at the right temp. It had a mix of people there and the music was the best. The dj's play all the recent music in r&b, hiphop, garage, and classics bit of old school dancehall. The were no disturbances such as fights. The security was tight but because it was two of us being female there was no problem getting in. We didnt drink alcohol but the red bulls were £3.50 each. I recommend it to all the sylish people out there. have fun!!!!

I've been there the past to thursdays and it's been really good. Bobby Valentino was there last thursday! Couldn't believe. Drinks cost too damn much for a thurday though. Still a good club though I may venture there again next week.

I party in westend every week. Been to all the so-called hotspots: Valbonne, Cafe deParis etc. Lately been going to View Lounge regularly because you're guaranteed to stay on you feet. The djs rock. Best RnB, funky house and soulful classics i've heard in a long time. Would recommend a table as well unless you're prepared to stay on your feet all night

Im currently a student in London. I celebrated my birthday on a saturday night at view lounge. Never been there brfore but heard its a kicking place. I had such a mad night as soon as i got in the place was kicking, the music was really good! The view from the club is amazing! There was about 28 of us even though the drinks are lil pricey, the venue appears to be small and the bouncers were lil rude we all had a wikid night, Its worth checking out.

Fom the moment we walked in, the club was pumpin'. We went on a Friday night and enjoyed ourselves with all kinds of music tracks playing. The drinks are good but a little pricey. The club itself has some stunning views of central London and is set over two main floors, where you will sit amongst some chic people on truly vougish decor. NOTE: This club is no longer called Penthouse or View Lounge but No. 1 Leicester Square. It don't match up to the likes of Kingly Club, 24, FunkyBuddha, Pangea and Aura but it is still is a place to kick start your night, before you move onto London's A-List hangout spots. Do not be discouraged as depending on the night, it coukd actually be better...

I was very disappointed with the level of service on the night. I booked 3 tables with a minimum spend of £500.00 per table, and a party of 30 which were on the guest list. After making us line up outside for over half an hour, they then tried to make us pay an entrance fee. (The only reason we did not pay was because I had all the emails with me and showed them what had been confirmed to me in writing). The bouncer was extremely rude, and once we finally managed to get inside we had been allocated 2 half moon tables (FOR 37 PEOPLE). Thankfully it was not full so after much negotiating they gave us two longer tables where we all managed to sqweeze around. They allocated one waitress for 37 of us, and she was only allowed to get us drinks by the bottle, we could not get drinks on a tab! After a tiresome night, we finally manged to settle, but the trips to the bar through the dance floor everytime someone wanted a drink were ridiculous. We will not be wasting our time and money on this venue again. Best of luck to you, you'll need it.
