its good club, plays good music but keeps on playing the same thing over and over again, the staff in there need to smile abit more but not most of them just some, snd theres loads of idiots and creaps that got there and wont take no for an answer

Really enjoyed it.it was my first club in l.sq and had no expectations so that helped.now i judge all clubbs to the standards of it and so far still waiting to be impressed.prices are a bit high but if they continue to play good music i will keep going.

this club is the most amazing club i ever been to..drinks, djs and blind me the girls..every friday and saturday for me.

We put our names on the guestlist and were in wtihtin two minutes, the girl at the door was so friendly. paid £10 each. Club is really nice, glass lifts to each floor, we stayed on the rnb floor the music was excellent. All of the staff and the bouncers were really friendly which is unsual for a west end club!! no attitude wahtsoever. only downside is that the drinks are expensive, but this is to be expected i guess. reat place i will definitely be going back!!

Me n my mates went there on a Friday, after bein persued by promotors. There were no problems to get in,we were quite early so the que was short. Girls pay £10 n boys £15, was it worth it,yes. The venue is nice, you'll have to take a lift up to the top floor-the penthouse.There are two dancefloors so you have a good choice of what music you wanna hear. We were on the R n B dancefloor and after bout midnight the music was really good, playin all the tunes!Staff were friendly and helpful, the only negative elements would be; the high prices of the bar, its a case when you are not abe to buy a btl of wine but instead seperate glasses which are £7.50. (n oh its small plastic glasses by the way)!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! If you are a smoker you might find it a bit challeging to take the lift 7 floors up and down to the ground floor to have a fag. But apart from that it was fun!

Initiali i was gona go 2 Dolce 4 my graduation but ended up being persuaded by a promoter 2 try penthouse on saturday. Once inside it was da club was gorjus, da music was live and so were da crowd. The downfal was dat we had 2 wait 45 mins 2 b let inside and a group of m8s dat joined later on were refused entry, even after da man sed if once we pay and go in he wil make sure dey wil b let in!!! The bouncers were rude because i had 2 step outside a few times dey kept gettin annoyed, da bar was a joke da queue was 2 long and da prices high. Overall, it was a fun night coz da club has the best view of london, but the staff needs 2 b changed.

went to this place 4 the second time, first its got so many names so its confusing, the bouncers were quite good at the door, the bartenders as well, when u get to the waitresses they are so stuck up especially the blond one who is soooooo rude always having fights with customers, used to have some nice polite gal who had the best customer service i've ever witnessed. to the manager get ur head around and get rid of thatrude blondish gal she's putting many of us off. WOULDNT RECCOMEND ESPECIALLY IN THE VIP

We had a vip tour of club before choosing which level we were to stay on [ recommend level7 if ur into rnb mixed with a bit of funk]. went there for my 21st......had such a gas. there were moments when it got a little too crowded but besides that, it is quiet a nice place..got very good views of london....was quiet impressed ...even by the toilets. how ever if you not the kind that like s spending ££££ on drinks then i wouldn't advise it

Nice lighting,atmosphere, renovated, wonderful colors even in the toilets, top class, lots of drinks and the food is not pricy at all!!! No drugs, a safe place to party. Flowers and candels!!! NEAT! The new teams are Professionals, Nice, attentive to details. I can have all the privacy I want. I heard they just got live music (7th floor). Not crowded ... yet. People should know about this place. Lux but also home-y. (Do not drink much unless you can afford!) It worth every penny one spends there. The view is awsom.

Went there on a friday night ( 12 Oct ). A PR got us in for half price plus que jump and headed up to the 8th floor, was brilliant view and lovely decor, music was average, drinks pricey! but the bouncers and staff were so polite and friendly. Would definately reccommend, Not sure about the other floors though as we didnt go to them. But overall a very enjoyable night.

Im sorry penthouse is not the place to go on a thursday night the most exciting thing was the lift and they closed all the floors except one. For a glass of wine it was 7.50 and it was a half glass mind u and i love how they give it to you on a silver tray expecting a tip my arse, he was so rude. the dj was ridiculously crap I felt like I should have jst taken over and played songs from my ipod. He really did not get the crowd like he would play a really good song then just put something completly different and everyone would stop and sit down. I fell asleep on the couch coz i was that bored. I SHALL NOT BE VISITING PENTHOUSE ANYTIME SOON. DONT EVEN BOTHER.

Wow, what an amazing view of London! I went there last night(thursday) and got in straight away, due to that fact that a promoter hanging around Leicester Square grabbed me and my friend and we jumped the queue to get in, and paid the same as everyone else! Drinks are quite pricey, but thats expected. Better music on the 6th floor, but were moved up to the 7th later on. Great night!

im not one of those bitter people who got shunned at the door or had staff be rude to me at penthouse.. actually, i was on guestlist, the bouncers were real friendly to us, but the lift up to penthouse is probably the most exciting bit of going there.. i think they rely on their repuation (number one leicster square) too much..this is basically what happened.. penthouse is supposedly one of the best nightclubs in london..we turned up at 11 expecting it to be booming and full of life...but i could count the number of people on my hands, and it was a friday night. however the amount of people did increase until the club was full, BUT NO ONE DANCED!! im never usually the first one to dance, but this time me and my friends were, and we were the only ones for quite a while...if your looking for a great time, dont come to penthouse ...but if you just wanna stand arond like an idiot and spend a ridiculous amount of money to do so, penthouse is your type of place. they place is rife with older guys trying to prey on the prettiest thing they can find and are actually really perverted...im 18 and i was with a couple of girls as well and they found it really rude taht some guys would just walk past them and slap their asses so overall, penthouse is overpriced, over rated, and full of idiots who dont know how to have a good time.

about 15 of us went to penthouse saturday nite and i must say i fort it was a good nite out the music was wicked the atmosphere was gud the lot i think the drinks were a little over priced but thats london for you really!!! i will deafo be attending again thats for sure !!!!

I've been to Penthouse a few times, the first time I had a really good night, but when I went recently I was disgusted with the people in there & i won't be rushing to come back anytime soon. We waited over an hour to get in, even though we were on guestlist the bouncers where letting eveyone who wasn't through & because we were waiting so long we got in after midnight & had to pay extra. Three of the boys I was with were told they weren't smart enough, how can shoes, trousers & a shrit not be smart??? When we got inside I tried to look for my friends in the VIP area & was pushed, rather roughly, by a bouncer to the side, the drinks are waaaay over priced & it's full of stuck up little rich kids who need to learn some manners. The only thing I actually enjoyed about the night was the music!!! & we ended up leaving not long after because there is just way too much attitude in there, I go out to have a good time, not to get into fights!

Went penthouse recently with a few girls from work, was a little bit of a wait outside to get in but flirting with the bouncers definately helped, not that they were anything special-but a girls got to do what a girls got to do! The views inside were amazing of London-some of the very best I have seen in a while and the venue itself was truly lavishing, fit for a queen. Definately worth the money. The drinks...little over pricey, but its good to splash out once in a while. The people really friendly, you WILL end up having an amazing night...definately worth it and would recommend you to go if you havent been already-dress to impress!

Fom the moment we walked in, the club was pumpin'. We went on a Friday night and enjoyed ourselves with all kinds of music tracks playing. The drinks are good but a little pricey. The club itself has some stunning views of central London and is set over two main floors, where you will sit amongst some chic people on truly vougish decor. NOTE: This club is no longer called Penthouse or View Lounge but No. 1 Leicester Square. It don't match up to the likes of Kingly Club, 24, FunkyBuddha, Pangea and Aura but it is still is a place to kick start your night, before you move onto London's A-List hangout spots. Do not be discouraged as depending on the night, it coukd actually be better.

i went to penthouse for new years eve party and it was off the hook, the music was fantastic the people were great and everyone was having a good time...there were few celebrities hanging around, everyone looked nice and it was amazing...i can say that i had the best night out at penthouse with my friend...i would recommend penthouse to anyone...it was great fun, the £50 ticket was worth it

ME and 2 of my friends were on the guestlist and got in in without aby problems and for FREE!! but all the drinks are very expensive: shots-£4.50 and other drinks like Arches$Limonade(single)-£8.50!! AND the dont do Smirnoff ice ot any similar coctails which was a bit of a dissapontment cz we live them!! Overall was wikid!! we met a group of men who gave us free champagne andapple sheesha! was fab! please if u have an opportunity - GO there!! the view on the night london is awesome!!!!!!!!!!

I went a few weeks ago to see what all the hype was about, had a bit of a hard time getting in despite my full name being on the guestlist, the staff insisted that it couldn't be me because they had written Rhona instead of Rhoda. When I asked them to check the surname they said it wasn't there despite them never asking me what my last name was!(and it was there!!). the views were fantastic, the music varied from ok to rubbish, and the general atmosphere was quite stuck up- if you're going to impress complete strangers who have no impact on your life, great. if you don't care for that kind of thing and live in the real world, JUST DON'T BOTHER!

Night started out well ....got in easily with the help of my two prettier friends who flirted with the sexy Irish Manager (who turned out to be gay). Music was wicked. Men were not so good!!! Ended up pulling poser called bradley who looked more like a frog than a man and had the tounge to boot..... sado tried holding my had all night .. COME ON we are in public!!!!! Would definatly come again though was a night to remember :-)

I went to the penthouse on the bank holiday weekend for my birthday (august) and i had a good time. it was a shame the 8th floor was closed for refurb but the atmosphere was great. i will go again in the future.

The interiour at Penthouse is amazing with the view and all, but it`s true what they say, that the crowd has really changed and not for the better. It used to be a V.I.P. club where they didn`t just let anyone in, but now everyone gets in, even really trashy people! It used to be gentlemen there, but now it`s packed with thugs that`s desperately trying to find some pu**y for the night.

Went to my good mates birthday yesterday 26/08/06, there were a bunch of girls and guyz, didn't let the guyz in because they went in seperately to the girls.

I go here nearly every saturday, its the BEST club in the west end. The drinks are exspensive but once your drunk who cares. The music is great a bit of everything on every floor so you always find yourself dancing. Once your in the vip the treat you like a VIP.. F**KING FANTASTIC..

Woow went here Sat 12th Aug, had the best nite i've had out in a long time. Loved this club, 3 rooms, we was allowed in, the Rnb room on the erm i think 7th floor was the best, music and croud was great. Staff was nice as well, had to que for a while to get in but was worth it, what a great night will def be going back there xAx

i had a heavy nite in Penthouse on sat 12th august, the music was great there were plenty of sexy chicks up in there. A mojar plus side is the door staff that work inside the club leading to different floors are really safe and friendly. Attracts a nice crowd of people music was really good played a nice variety of tunes not just the usual bashment i listen to, so it was a nice change for me. Anyways highly recommended.

went penthouse on a thursday night for a mates b-day had a really good time! it was a bit empty to start with but once it hit 1am it was packed! really good music, great atmosphere and really nice staff! a place you have to go to at least once - even if its just for the views of london!

The hostess was really hot, she made the night an awesome experience with her saucy boots and hot pins! We all thought the brazilian chics were hot, watch this space . . . s.a. chics are hoooottttt!!!!!!!!

Wow amazing views. Very funky club. Sophisticated music and a few footballers and celebs if you like that kind of thing... Major drwabcak about thsi club are the dodgy hostesses in the VIP. Very snooty, a little rough round the edges and pretty unwelcoming since you are a VIP guest. They think they own nthe club as opposed to working in it for minimum wage. Embassy, CC Club & Pangea definitely have the edge here. Maybe Penthouse run out of money when it come to getting good quality hostesses after making the place so fab.

Whats happened to Penthouse!! I have been away abroad since January when I used to go here quite often but I visited the penthouse last Saturday and the club have completely changed in regards to the people and music. I use to have so much fun at this club with my mates. Its obvious they were fighting the odds being where it is but I didn't think they would let this beautiful place turn into another typical Leicester square club!

went to penthouse club on sat 20th may for the first time. had a brilliant time. the bar staff and security were very friendly. there was a great atmosphere and everyone seemed happy. the dj couldnt mix but played great tunes. the only down side was the price of drinks way to expensive but all in all had a fantastic night. i will be going again and again.i

Went there on mon for the choong family launch party and it was off the hook, the promoters us2promotions really did thier thing the dj's were heavy the crowd was fantastic i couldnt complain at all and i'm mad picky. But i'd go again anytime that promotion company is doing an event cause it was too heavy

This was one of the worst nights out me or the other lads have experienced! We had been in the que for almost 2 hours and then when we got to the front the bouncers refused to let us in eventhough all of us had id and one of mates even went to the trouble of bringing his passport along. The reason they gave was that there were too many guys even though we had two girls with us. Then we had to end up spending the night in the local KFC.

I've had some really great friday nights there. I've been fortunate enough to get in with the right crowd, and have started to actually get involved in the Friday nights. The club setting is beautiful, the drinks are expensive but I would suppose that keeps the undesirables out-wich can only be a good thing!!! The crowd is diverse and the atmosphere warm and welcoming. I definately reccommend making it a club to visit. p.s. The manager's quite fit so that adds another incentive for me! But for everyone else there are plenty of good looking guys and girls to please the eye!!!!!

I went to The Pentouse for a friends birthday on Saturday night and had an amazing time. The music was fun and the views were completely amazing - good celeb spotting too!

unlike some horrid places penthouse had v.polite and pretty staff..which is always nice. not too sure if i wanna use their toilet!! attendant had attitude worse then paris hilton-_- i got annoyed and walked 2fls up to use another one and tipped her 5 pound instead.

Very average, nothing special. Didn't try the food though.

Went here Saturday 5th November for my 21st and had the best time ever. Everything was great the music the people. We had our own tables and a terrific bar maid that was serving us. Defiantly recommend this club to anyone who is looking for a night to remember. Cant wait to go back

Have to agree with Emma... Movida have got a nice crowd but as a venue it's nothing special whatsoever, (Looks like the same decor as my friend's bedroom!!) But isn't any club when it first open? The Penthouse events seems to be a little inconsistent. I've had great times their but some nights have been a little quite too!

Following over a 40 min wait outside to enter (although we were on the guest list and only about 10th in the queue), we then discovered after climbing the staircase (which took another 20 min wait) that they club had messed up our names on the list and not supplied our complimentry entry tickets. The staff at the payment kiosk were unbelievably rude, even snatching a ticket from my hand and obviously unable to listen to help resolve the situation. TOTALLY NOT WORTH HE BOTHER!!!

I don't think you can compare this with any other nightclub in London. It's in a league of its own!! The only place that come remotely in the same area would be Movida. But purely on that fact that you feel like you are partying with 500 odd people on the top of the London eye, this club is most defiantly the best in London.

Had a great time. Got nto the VIP floor. Great views. Dance floor really good downstairs. Hard to get in though, but once you are in its cool.

I was on guest list for free. Very nice venue, stylish, brilliant views. Drinks were very expensive and I didn't like the the sort of people that this type of place attracts. I found the music to be very poor as well. I would have thought that for such an up and coming place it would have had more choice other than funky house.

Ok venue, great views. However even on members guest list, had to wait half an hour- staff were pretentious and all bar staff male. Table cost was £150 for 2.

Dull, which is a shame because it has such good potential. Great Views though.

Extra fine looking ladies as clientele last night, April 16, 2005. Many models or wannabees - who cares which. My semi-Swedish waitress Cecilia, was charming - and yes, she does look very much like Nicole Kidman, just a little shorter but just as sweet - Dead Calm Billy!. Had the lobster salad and drinks were on the house for the first bit. Nice to knock back martinis with leechee fruit, gratis. Beer was cold so no problemo. Penthouse might want to distinguish itself from the pack of other bars by having a sexy, sultry themed music night e.g. I love Brazilian samba from Estado do Bahia. I thought the club was great with an awesome view. The atmosphere was lovely and the staff seemed polite-all apart from one,the very rude toilet attendent!who was rude to 3 of us from our table. Apart from her it was a very good evening in there.

My partner and I were treated to a special dinner here on the 19th February. The whole experience was charming. The staff were extremely polite and attentive, the food excellent, plus the service. All in all, a fabulous evening was had.

Our Company hired out the VIP lounge on the 8th floor lastnight for our Xmas Party. It was a fabulous evening had by all! This venue was just devine, great view over London, beautiful decor, great staff. There could have been more female staff, all the bar staff were men! Nice security staff too.

I went to the Richard Raymond Film party at the Penthouse the other week, what a fab venue. An over priced bar, but a truly stunning view of London. A great variety of music and friendly bar staff. If you can get tickets for the New Year's Eve party then you really should go.

I went to the launch party last night. It was a very good night and a great venue. Has one of the best views I have ever seen of London - even in the toilet. It has the recipe for a great club with faces from Chinawhite, Aura, Tramps and Pangaea crowd all attracted to this new hotspot. This is most defiantly going to my weekly party venue.
