Tantra! Always top rating for me. The fact that the bouncers don't let anyone dodgy inside only makes the night better. it is always pleasant when there is a dress code. Looking around makes you feel better, makes appreciate the night and feel comfortable. Prices? ha, what do you expect - if u want to be within the crowd you've gotta pay. And it is worth it. Love the staff's attitude towards vip customers and those who go there very often. Clearly one of the best clubs in London

Went there last Saturday with some Russians, Indians and Germans, V.I.P Area, what else?!! :) And it was great, one of the best Partys I've been yet, no problem to come in allthough we were like 20 guys, (13 Girls, 7 Boys), Bouncer was ok, didn't talk to me, just gave me the signature on my hand to get in the White Area.... Yes it was expensive, but for that what I got, it was O.K. and not very painful....

Amazing club. Beautiful on the inside and attracts people from the outside aswell. I have had the most brilliant and unforgettable times there. The music is average not too good but not bad, alot of hip-hip and r&b. The staff are nice and friendly, but the bouncers tend to not let people in if they don't like the look of them. The best place to be is in the VIP area. You can never get bored of this club.

Tantra is FANTASTIC, especially on monday nights when they play arabic,persian,r'n'b and funky house.90% of the crowd are gorgeouse, drinks may be a little pricey but its the same everywhere else. However its more fun on the dancefloor than VIP and all the ppl in VIP do is stare at those who are dancing and having fun while they look bored shitless just sitting there.

I have to say Tantra didn't reach my expetations, drinks are over priced and the bouncers aren't friendly at all. They let you in by looks, they wouldn't let a girl in because she was over weight. I wouldn't really go back there again, but it's somewhere to go at least once. Monday nights are the best. Look out for Poline and Sonia.

what a disapointment...we booked a table for five hundred pounds and was bought the the tackiest part of the club...you wallk in to see chanderlears with marble floor then they walk you over to the vip area where it's just pure tackie compared to the rest of the club...even though your paying that amount of money for a table.....the tables advertised on the internet with the lovely white beds and drapes are for members only the tabels you get given are like being at a restaurant comfort does not come into it...... they are not the ones advertised don't make our mistake...you end up in and four by four area with about twenty tabels squeesed together, with tackie table clohtes crap service and a terrible smell of insense everywhere......the only good thing about the whole club was the music.....they have the cheek to compare it to penthouse well i'm saorry i loved it in there and we got our moneys worth........i would not recommend anyone to go here at all.....

Went to this club a couple of weeks ago on a Thursday. The door staff were o.k - no bad attitudes. Drinks were expensive but getting into the plush VIP area made up for it. Music was o.k but not enough R & B for me.

i went 2 tanta a little while bad and i bloody loved it.. it was my works christmas do and we were in VIP all night so we got 2 go on the beds and sit down.. i liked the music and i thought the place in its self was beatiufull,, especially the glass floor with roses in and the cool lights. i would go bak definatly but id drinkb4 i went out ... its sooo expensive but luckily we got free champaign and stuff.. it was a really cool night especially as i was only 16 at the time haha... band i iked all the staff wearing white.. made me think of heaven lol.. really super club xxxxxxxxx

Went to tantra on saturday night... AMAZING! The VIP area was chic, stylish and had the best ambiance! The boudoir beds, underlight dance floor and champagne made our night the best night i have had in london! Everyone there was very freindly... ecspecially xavier! Been to Tantra twice. The second time was this weekend just gone... The staff I thought were very friendly and were there to accomodate our every need. No hassle if you have a table and music i thought was very good... Would recommend to go in a group and book a table beforehand.. and you will have a good evening.

The music at Tantra was awesome!!!!! Didn't stop dancing. Yes it is overpriced, but so is every other club in London. The problem is not with Tantra, its with all of them. They r overpriced bcoz they r supposed to attract good clientelle, but the truth is anyone can get in. And if u think about it a group of people sharing a table is as much as u wud spend in another club on drinks. That said, I didn't like the fact that is was jam packed with people. You cudnt move unless u had to push sumone out of ur way or be pushed. That was very annoying, toooo many people. Besides that its a kool place, love the decor!

A few people on here have complained that the staff are arrogant, or rather that the doormen are. Unfortunately, this is a common thing in London however once inside, it is brilliant on one condition...that you have a table. Having a table grants you the 'vip' status and there are tables, for around 4-6 people, for which you will be asked to spend no less than £200 which is not difficult. The club is mainly full of Russians however that is no bad thing as they are polite. It is usually student atmosphere, populated mainly by EBS, but they are all great spirits. It will cost you, but for a great night out, you can't beat it.

i've been to Tantra about 3 times now all on a monday night and i think it is one of, if not, the best club i've been to. The music is great because they play everything, Arabic, Iranian, Hip Hop, R'n'B, Pop, it's great. The girls there are amazing. The first night my friend took me there i was like WOW!! nearly 85% of the girls in there were Gorgeous, and the other 15% weren't bad. I do agree that the drinks are expensive but i love going there so i don't really mind spending a bit of money. I disagree with some of the people who gave there views and said that if you can't afford to go in the VIP bit, don't bother, there just Snobs. I would prefer to be on the dance floor because everyone seems to be having more fun there!! Anyways, i'll be back there soon. !!!

This place plays the best Arabic music in london! I recommend u all 2go 2it on Mondays or Thursdays! They serve the best shisha ever *& have some very nice cocktails! The decor of this club is very chic! However if u ain't a VIP- there's no point in going there! cos u won't enjoy it as much! I went 2it 4my friend's BD- we sat in a big rectangular table! we couldn't see much of the crowd nor the dance floor!! so me & my mates had2 move away from this massive table that is not VIP! and we satyed all night on our feet! average kinda club, never any troubles getting in tho i gotta agree, they are pretty shallow when giving their approval..but then so is every club! slightly overrated.. i love the glass floor with all the lights and stuff, but PLEASE fix the tiles!! so many holes in the glass, my high heels kept getting stuk in them! dont see any problem with the staff, but overall i wudnt recomend this club if ure counting on having an amazing night, and if ure not vip, thn dont go unless u dont mind dancing on ure feet all nite as seating arrangement is crap!

I am still on a high from going to Tantra last night for the first time. yes the staff are all eastern europeans, and stuck up, and yes the club is a playground for the rich & snobbish, & the crowd is all student-ish age, but if you rise above that i think it's a great place. There is apparently an "arrangement" with the whores who come there and the club manager/staff due to the rich business men spending obscene amounts of money on them. Overall i had a great time with my friends despite any negative factors working against the club.

Clubbing is about enjoying music in the right atmosphere. The club seems to attract some trashy customers but apart from that the atmosphere is'nt too bad (loved the white beds). It's the music that is the killer. Apart from a few good tunes it was generally boring and repetative. BRING BACK SOME SEXY OLD SCHOOL SHIT. Went once and it was OK but wouldnt go again.

Great place, great club, good music shame that almost everyone working there is stuck up, arrogant, rude, un aproachable. If they knew what they had then they would make a bit of an effort and actually do what they should which is look after their geausts rather than their owners who have too much money and not enough knowledge on running a bar!

This club is great if you don't mind splashing out. We had a fantastic night after a few drinks - the music was great and we just got on with having a good time. It is full of students if you ask me all 21... the staff are arrogant. The door people love themselves - god knows why. I doubt they'd be able to pay the entry themselves! There are much better places to go in London. If you are under 23 this place is probaly perfect to hang out with the student crowd.

i went to this place on saturday just gone.it was my friend and i just out for a quite/fun night out.i personally know the person that runs the place.but APPARENTLY he was on holiday according to one of the bouncer twats!!!!who by the way were very patronising and insulting and suggested that i did not know the owner as one of them said he was his son?!!rather strange seeing as he didnt know his sisters or mothers name when i asked how they were.nob.i persoanlly think it is one of these places that uses everyone for their money and have no real sense of care to any of their cuistomers.

Had quite a good night cos we were VIP guests. Although I agree - bouncers with enormous ego, attitudes and bellies. Staff looked like Chav central (and most refugees from eastern Europe). Oh yes, and halfway through the night, a dozen page 3 girls turned up, stripped off and got it on together on the beds. Did someone say they were rejected for not being classy enough?? Went to Tantra recently and I had a really good time, the music was good..but what made it really fun was the Bongo players and Belly dancers. I agree with most of the comments about the moody bouncers and stuck-up staff. But if your with good company and have a flow of alcohol then you rise above it. Overall it was a top night, a bit over-priced but we had fun.

Went to Tantra. It is really good. Loved it. One problem though was the bouncers, so rude, especially the head bouncer - rejected people just because they don't look good (one girl was rejected cos she was fat). But once inside its great, staff are very friendly and music is great. A lot of the people inside are fake, and rich wannabes, but apart from that, was good. make sure your VIP though, much better, believe me!

Wicked club atmosphere. Drinks way to expensive, but worth paying for! White bed and white theme is very modern and chic. A place to see and be seen. The bouncers are a bit to stuck up and have serious issues! They let u in on appearance, therefore, there are too many "daddy's girls" there, being dropped off in "daddy's porshe!" A 15 year old who looks wealthy is more liklely to get in than a 22 year old who looks average! Overall, VERY ENJOYABLE!!!!TERRIFIC FOR A GIRLY NIGHT OUT!

I was on a weekend away with my gals, we Live in newport, south wales we called to ask. we told there is no guest list on arrival some bimbo blonde came to look at us and just told us there is no chance we can get in. We just made a u turn and our night was ruined after driving all the way to london and looking for ward to that weekend. Not even curious anymore Tantra can go to hell. I felt the gal at the door was very racila minded, because some gals came and were nodded in they were white!!! Or yes We are black.

After organising a major night out for my birthday with 32 people with 17 girls and 15 guys all dressed to the occasion the door men and manager where lets say the closest thing to Neanderthals that I have ever encountered. After confirming our guest list three times on Friday and they accepted the large number we got there and they said 'no' for no reason...after speaking to the moody manager he just said ok I will let 6 of you in!!! Obviously this guy was blind, doesn't speak English and has no logic!! So they ruined a night for 32 people and have left their mark as one of the worst clubs in London, they need to realise that a clubs reputation travels by word of mouth.

went to Tantra - full of cliques...Who all stick together...I Find Capisce/Mayfair on Fridays a much better bet, for a Russian crowd anyway...It doesn't have much Russian music, instead opts for the L'ETO and Shambala approach, so in my view much cooler for the Russkies among us

Vacuous and infuriating (as are most clubs on this list!). The first question you will be asked is what car you drive and if you live in zone 1. On leaving the club you will find guys driving their Mercs outside the club only to realise they will only get to be seen for 4 seconds while they drive past so they keep doing it again just in case nobody saw them the 1st time. A def. no no, the epitome of why London sucks in terms of attitude and expense.

A great venue but unfortunately now a playground for those that come from bedowein cities and bring their bedowein ways with them. These guys are here not to enjoy the place and appreciate the night life but to act like they cool and are sooo wannabe playboys. I went to Tantra a few times when it opened but I am not going there anymore. The glass floor and the VIP area with beds seemed attractive. Unfortunatly the people inside are not really enjoying themselves and they all seem to be students (I prefer a more mixed crowd!)
