Sugar hut
374 North End Road, Fulham, London, SW6 1LY

Sugar Hut is another of the zillions of exciting venues that are shifting London's centre of frivolity westward. You'll catch your breath when you enter - it is a stunning place, with art and artefacts collected from Indian, China, Morocco and Thailand by owner Chris George, and they perfectly accent the sumptuous surroundings.

Start with a killer cocktail like Lotus flower or Weeping Tiger in the bar, redolent of the opium dens of the Orient. Then move on to the beautifully intimate restaurant and have a Thai meal to remember prepared by a husband-and-wife team with many years experience in the Far Eastern Shangri-La Hotels.

Went there on a Sunday night. Great live music & jamming session, nice drinks, prices not too over the top. Would definitely go there again.

Really disappointed, had table booked for 10 people 2 weeks in advance for friends 30th birthday on a saturday evening at 9.30pm. When we arrived the staff asked us to wait which we did for nearly an hour to be told that they had over booked and we wouldn't be getting a table in the restaurant for that evening. We were offered a small table in the very smokey bar area. Not happy and very disappointed

Went for my birthday with my very good friend and had the best time. I have never been anywhere quite like it. Fab atmosphere, fab drinks and fab company...all the perfect ingredients for a top London night out!
