Nice little place, at first floor staff were rude soon as they know you have money there all over you. Spent nearly 10k on drinks staff seemed to ignore other customers and paid more attention to myself which i think is poor!

fantastic place, D.J is brilliant and when i get hassel from a guy in there, the bouncer was right there to sort him out and the helpful bar staff backed me up to. i go there pretty offen and i only wish some of the nasty looking girls who think they are so wonderful didnt get in, but i guess you get that where ever you go.

Went to Mahiki's on Saturday 30th Aug with the B/F. Had complementry entry and a table, so not to sure what the prices were like to get in. I found the floor staff to be very attentive (understandable due to the automatic 12.5% gratuity on each drink ordered) didn't mind paying this up until our last drink we ordered at the table (after already spending around £300 between the two of us the 12.5% was getting a bit rediculous) we were told to F-Off by the girl serving. After this we went to stand by the bar. Bar staff equally as attentive. The place was very busy. Cant say I really noticed if people were all that toffy to be honest, everyone seemed pretty down to earth! Managed to squeeze onto the dancefloor towards the end of the night and have a little boggie!(the music must have been good as the B/F REALLY doesnt dance!) The only complaint I would have is that the ladies bathroom upstairs is TINY....Smaller than the guys......It also doesnt help that they have a bathroom attendant in there taking up alot of the floorspace so you have to climb to pee!!!! Also watch out for the cheeky taxi drivers outside.. We wanted to go elsewhere after around 3.30am so asked our taxi driver who charged us £15 to go about 3 blocks and took us to the British Luxury club on Bond Street which is MOST DEFINATLY Members ONLY no matter how much you are willing to pay to get in. Luckally we were staying in the Westbury so only a 30 second defeated walk to go to bed too early!!!! Other than that a completely enjoyable (very expensive(but worth it)) Night had by us both!!!

Mahiki is incredible. The tiki theme is supposed to be tongue-in-cheek, so don't let that deter all you potential punters. As for drinks being over-priced? Try any decent club in Mayfair and you'll find it no different. True, there is a very rah-rah vibe going on, but that comes part and parcel of the Mahiki package. Amazing atmosphere, a posh but friendly crowd, delicious cocktails and fun dance music truly make Mahiki an ideal night out. Ended up chatting to a Prince who bought myself and all my mates a choice of any drink on the menu. Again, absolutely incredible night out. Totally recommended. Just take it all with a pinch of salt.

hello, i went to mahiki and thought is was amazing LOL! Resident DJ Tom crane played a fabulous mix of funki dirty trendi music. Most of the people we were with said the music was the worst kind of hen party rubbish, but i didnt, and it certainly got my foot tapping LOL! Its so sad he has broken up with the beautiful sarah harding. lets hope they patch it up. (and soon!) Anyway, we had some wonderful cocktails. Alot of my friends complained that they were really expensive and very poorly made, but personally i found them to be just right - Anyway the club has to make a living right?! and the bar staff were very busy so probably cant pay as much attention to them as i am sure they normally would. Generally, I thought the staff were very attentive and were right to be rude to me when i didnt tip them. i wont forget again in the future. Despite alot of people suggesting that the polynesian theme is incredibly tacky, i think it is very innovative and makes the club stand out from the crowd. Three cheers for mahiki. sean

Tacky interior, overpriced distinctly average cocktails, anally retentive staff who run their club like a military operation, and over packed throughout. Was expecting great things from this place but we ended up leaving after a couple of hours to get away from the horror. Avoid unless you're looking for floppy haired young boys with daddys credit card and bossy floor staff who hate customers.

Wow! Two girlfriends and I went here for a Paris Hilton party. Was brilliant, there was a huge queue outside, but if your on guestlist or table your fine! Cocktails were tasty, a little pricey but expected.... We met Abercrombie Models, the Big Brother Twins and danced with Paris, saw Benji too. However, 'American Boy' was played 3 times, which was a bit unexpected from a top london club, the dj was a bit old. Looking forward to venturing in other brilliant clubs. Can't wait for 24!

I went to Mohiki once. I and my friend got in without a problem. On the way down to the bar two beautiful girls sheered us, which was pleasant surprise because we are females ourselves:0) Waiter helped us to choose a table, cocktails were really good and stuff were polite and charming. Public was smart. Music was fun as well!

We lined up to get into Mahiki on Saturday night for a friends 21st. There were only four of us and after standing in the cold for 30mins we were told that it was reservation only which i was so annoyed about. I did ask the lady why someone had not walked down the line to explain to people that it was reservation only instead of letting us all stand their like idiots. I have never been to this club before and never intend to go their now after the attitude of the door staff.

Went there on a Friday night. The dance floor was too cramped . Great service at the bar - very friendly bar staff. Music was too 60's and 70's. More current House and R&B would have been welcome. After 3 a.m the music was really bad and was an obvious attempt to get people to leave -which we did. Would I visit again? NO.

Went on Sat. It reallly is quite rubbish. The music was pants, and the atmosphere was uninspiring. We left after an hour and half, waiting with the anticipation that it would get better. It didn't. In short, my night was both short and pointless. It was sooo bad that my friend apologised profusely for taking us there. However, he could not have forseen the utter horror that is Mahiki. Just stay indoors.

I went last Sat, and have to say I was impressed. The decor has a tropical theme which exudes its own style for a london club. My g/f and I walked straight in and went to the basement bar, where a waitress ushered us to a table, which was a plesent surprise. The cocktails are well made, I reccomend the "Zombie"! The staff were really really friendly and always full of smiles. A big improvement from the former Capishe. The thing that sets this club apart from the rest is the exceptional service the staff provides, also there were hardly any underage partygoers. A great venue for the more discerning crowd. Keep up the good work Mahiki, and don't let your customer service levels fall!

been twice. first time shockingly bad. last saturday? great. sorted tiself out. gone are the miserable waitresses and half hour waits for drinks. instead friendly gals having great time with us and others for what i could see. as far as tables everything was on a waiting list which seems fair. we waited about 40 minutes but were amply entertained by the bartenders in the meantime. mahiki keep it up: don't go back to what you were. shocking music though!

Went to Mahikis on Friday and had an absolutely fantastic night! Had no problems with the door staff and walked straight in. The bar staff were very friendly and quick to serve you. The music was at times a little cheesy! But still great fun to dance to

Having heard about the ridiculous reservations policy I decided not to even bother and was lucky enough to gain entrance before any of the infamous doorstaff/pickers had managed to get into character. I made no effort to sit at one of the empty tables and pulled up a barstool with my partner. I think of myself as a discerning drinker and was treated to exceptional over-the-bar service and some fun cocktails of very high quality. I was served by three different barmen, all of whom were funny, attentive and knowledgeable and one of them even acheived the impossible - he got me a table!!! At which point the poor reviews became apparent; rude inconsiderate service without a smile. Bottom line - if you go to mahiki sit at the bar and be entertained (and get there early!) This place could be incredible, for its a good cocktail BAR, not a lounge or club

This place is just awful. Incredibly rude and unprofessional staff, stupid reservations policy and terrible music. The Tiki theme is just a gimmick. Underneath its a souless drinking barn staffed by people with no social skills. When I didn't leave a tip - I bought all drinks at the bar and had no food - I got sarcastic comments from the barman. Save yourself an awful night and stay away.
