Kingly Club
4 Kingly Court, Soho, London, W1B 5PW

Located on the site of legendary 60's retreat, the Pinstripe Club, the Kingly has a glamorous legacy behind it. Icons such as Audrey Hepburn, Peter O'Toole and Profumo all enjoyed the illicit intimacy afforded by the low ceilings and cosy booths.

I was invited to a night out at the new Kingly Club, and I must say it wasn't all that. To start off the Japanese cuisine, was far from a true representation of Japanese dishes. It was just wrong, full stop. The only humorous aspect of this place (I encourage all to check this out, it has to be seen to be believed) the staff from the busboy to the big brother reject owner; are just hilarious. The egos are something from a film. Put it this way, if Zoolander the film was about the bar business. This would be the starring cast! The only decent thing about this place is that it brought back great memories of nights out, when it was originally denim. And as for the Kingly Club, its quite simply as fake as the fake tan the directors and bar staff cover themselves in. Please check this out! Guests beware- Have beans on toast before hand. It's going to be a long wait.

Everything said above about the staff and friendliness is absolute true- though I find it quite strange paying 15 quid entrance fee for a 20 sq mt venue- not enough space to dance if you don't have ur own VIP corner!!

Had two fantastic nights at The Kingly Club recently - excellent service, gorgeous bartenders and delicious cocktails - and little swanky booths to cosy up in. Loved the all white interiors and luxurious feel, and the fish tanks in the wall were a nice touch! Small in size but size isn't everything - the quality of the drinks and the night made up for it. I went on a Monday and Tuesday and it was still busy. The music was funky and the DJ was really friendly. Loved the way the bar was run so smoothly - the staff really know what they're doing, treat everyone so politely and are all dressed to impress. Just a really classy night with an exciting but warm atmosphere. Can't wait to go again this weekend.

Very nice, intimate venue with a normally very nice upscale crowd. Very small, and takes a while before it gets rocking. Definitely worth a second visit.

I went to The Kingly Club last November and it was amazing! I had a great birthday weekend with my friends. Staff were really friendly. I felt at home- really cosy place with great funky music. Most importantly, the best bar in London- spent 45 mins deciding which coctail to have- obviously the one with Crystal!! Can't wait to go there again- a hidden jem of a place 5 star rated!!!
