Elysium
68 Regent Street, London, W1B 5EL

Elysium Lounge is a stunning new addition to the London scene. Designed by Tony Carty, the interior feels more like an Indonesian Palace, comprising of a lounge, restaurant, bar and night-club all connected by grand corridors decorated with silk drapes.

You enter through the main Amber bar which links through to the Elysium restaurant, offering a fine menu full of European flavours with eastern influences. On to the main club area, which is surrounded by several VIP rooms, all continuing the opulent theme with plush cushions, candles and elaborates fixtures. Its even got its own cocktail bar, Ku De Ta, ideal for a pre-club drink or just to get away from it all.

Sat 12th Nov 2005 - The door policy is a joke here!! We q'd for over an hour and the door people dont know how to organise, or read their own guestlist! We danced to OLD R'N'B, ( as thats the only type of music this club has heard of!) despite being told its dance music too! We heard none of that! We were shoved by people sat at the reserved tables, who behaved as if they were soooo important and own freehold to the plot of land !! The girls have sooo much attitude and dress next to nothing with no class at all! Basically if you like R'n'B and astuffed small venue this is your place to be! Hope you have a better time than my friends and I did!.... PS: Avoid it like the plaque!!! :-(

Had a good time there, met a few lovely girls. One of the dancers tried to chat me up, not my type. Loved the music, dancers were okish, so so. Overall i would probably visit again.

Had no problem getting in, but quite an ordinary place when u are in. Decor out-of-place and doesn't come together. Dinner overpriced and nothing special. Drinks standardly priced. Cramped at the bar.

Elysium is excellent. I had no problems getting in, and doing a bit of flirting with the doormen, and letting them know you think they're good looking (even though they're not) gets you in for free, and i've been going for free every time. Great music, familar faces, and excellent atmospere. However, sometimes you tend to find those idiots whose only aim is to get totally drunk, which kind of ruins it. Don't go on a Thursday though, DJ can't mix, he was terrible. Definitly recommend

The entertainment is beyond belief, i walked in and there was a stage full of gorgeous girls dancing in amazing costumes and doing the sexiest routines ever...they really got the crowd going even my girlfriend loved it! to top it off all the staff are friendly and the promoter was beautiful and very entertaining! if you are willing to spend a fair amount of money its definatly worth a visit.

Went there for my birthday on a saturday...it was okish...great music, pretty packed, drinks were standardly what you'd expect to pay BUT the promoters and door men are the biggest idiots on a saturday....power-happy-tripping muppets who think just cos they hold the key to the success of your night and they want you to know it. If it wasn't for their arrogance I'd go back again.

Its a big place. The food is great and had fun at the club.

They should have an attitude check at the door. Unfriendly all round, impossible to get a drink and feels as though you are in an underground harem. Strange vibe. Pretty, but strange.
