Round the corner from Westminster Abbey, and running parallel to the Houses of Parliament, the Old Westminster Library was founded in 1897 and closed a century later.
The Cinnamon Club, comprising a total of 12,000 square feet of space is now using the ground and basement floors. A Grade II listed building, the library's inherent features have been retained, with bookshelves lining the walls as they would have been previously. The parquet flooring has been revived and the original screens retained. Indian marble and stone have been imported from quarries in Rajasthan. The interior design is clean, elegant and simple - with splashes of India.
