A (rich) young person's club really. And I don't mind saying that, even though I'm from a fairly wealthy family myself (at least let me qualify my views!!!) I've seen bars like this a hundred times: overly selective bouncers, over priced drinks, the regulars look at newcomers to determine whether they belong, cramped, too cluttery and loud, the list goes on. The real irony here is that people who are 17-22 think that by going to these sorts of places, they are in the "adult" world and going to bars that "adults" go to. Once you start to become more discerning as you approach you mid 20s, you'll realise that these places are terrible and you start to go for places that are really good and start to suit you. So therein lies the irony: kids going to a bar with daddy's platinum amex to feel like a grown up yet grown ups think that these places are just a passing phase for kids trying to be like adults.

people complain about the bouncers here...its the door girl who has the final descion! so leave them alone! otherwise love the place and will keep going!

Really must agree with the other comments regarding the door staff. There is simply no need to be rude to your clientele. They'll simply go somewhere else next time. Other than that, the club is so,so. I'm no oil painting so I felt out of place ;-)

Boujis is one of the few places you can always go and have a good time. I would and will go there again and again. It's the first club I ever went to in London and it is usually one of my first picks of places to go.

Essentially a great little club because of the music and the people that attend it (although there can also be eurotrash). Disappointing when recently dropped by without being guestlisted, but in the company of two gorgeous (female) models, NOT to be let in (including the models). The lady at the door seems to think of herself as very important. I suggest she swap her hilarious glasses for contacts or eyesurgery because she's obviously not seeing too well.

Arrived at the infamous Boujis to join my friends who were waiting for me inside the club. Was treated with indifference by the notoriously arrogant bouncers and left waiting in the cold and the rain for approx 30mins. Was on the guestlist, and on a table but eventually got too wet and cold and went home. Been to the club before (variable) but have to say that this was the most dissapointing experience-my much anticipated bank holiday bash with my friends/sisters birthday celebrations were ruined. Would not recommend nor go here again.

Being local I've here a few times and had nothing but praise for the place, the music, the atmosphere and the crowd has been well terrific! Even prices are no deterrent, London's good clubs are pricey! Unfortunately, on the last two ocassions, with appearance of a particular female door staff, who's been rude to pretty much everyone in the queue, its been impossible to get in. Hard to imagine why she wouldn't let us in, never had that problem before, but perhaps getting rid of her wouldn't be such a bad idea so that we can actually enjoy this great venue!

Having recently been there, I must say it is one of the better night clubs in London. Like most chique night clubs in London - the staff at the door are pretty snooty, and drinks are expensive, and you only see beautiful people - but the atmosphere and music more than makes up for it. I have to say it is certainly better than Movida which is still holding on to top spot at trendiness - just. Othe clubs which I recommend to try again not for the cheapos, include Paper, Boutique 60, and Mamilanji. Places I'm less keen on are 24 (formerly Attica), Umbaba, Click, Firehouse, Tantra (fomerly Emporium), Studio 57 (formerly 57 Jermyn St),Tryst and Pangea. Places I dare not step in again are Mahiki, Isis, Chinawhite, 5 Cavendish Sq, K Bar, Funky Buddha (used to be good) and Raffles. Still looking try out Kitts, Aura, and M1nt. Cheers

music=good drinks=good pricing=good. all round a pretty fun evening, howver b eing a memeber does not always mean imidiate entrance or tables on arrival. some people should not be allowed in though. there should be a definate dress code...

this club was ok, there was a lot of wanabees and it was like walking in from mid cold britan to a place in fiji with all that fack tan, and the men seem to be poseing more then haveing a good time but brush that aside and the place was a real buzz, some girl was there from a show called big brother but i don't know who she was or what the show is, but me and the cliants had a great time.

I agree with some of the comments. This place try to emulate St tropez and riviera style but fail badly. This is a pretentious place and really nothing to be amazed about. The bouncers outside are pathetic. As for the crowd, well, very well suited with the place. Wannabes and lots of fake tan. Definately not St tropez and definately not the french Riviera. So my advice is, if you want the real thing take the plane and don't go there, unless you too are a wannabee with lots of fake tan.

If the bouncers didnt let you in it means there were some big celebrities inside who didnt want much of a crowd (even if you were the member). I had different experiences with it, too, also depending on the night. But generally the stuff is very very friendly and VERY nice. Music is great most of the time (especially for girls ;). Lots of beautiful people. Yes, there are some pretentious people but they are everywhere. There are some real people, too, believe me. Very nice club. Higly recommend.

The place`s way TOO small for that many people they get in.I went there once on a tuesday night,we`re on the guesstlist, but for some reason the girl on the door did`nt want to let us in,she made us wait for ages,so we just left. It`s ridicoluos as it was`nt a busy night especially not there...

been a MEMBER of this club its a ****hole, honestly! Had to stand in a Q most of the times, bouncers acted as if they owned the place...so arrogant and let people in who paid them up front before members !!! As a member you are not guaranteed entry even if you look absolutely stunning and very well dressed!!! You can only like this club if you are drunk!!! The crowd is often eccentric and pretentious.
